ONLINE COURSE: Beginners Corsetmaking
Learn the basics of classic corset making in a 3 week course, especially designed for complete beginners!

The techniques you learn in this class can be easily adapted to your requirements.
You will work from an easy to use paper pattern and each week I will walk you step by step through the process.
You will learn about fabrics and tools needed for corsetmaking and all the steps to produce your own corset:
- how to choose the right size
- create a mockup
- make adjustments to the paper pattern
- cut your fabrics
- set in a busk
- design modifications
- different sewing & finishing techniques
CLASS FORMAT
The class will be taught LIVE in three weekly two-hours lessons (=6 hours), where I will demonstrate in real time everything you need to know!
You will receive an assignment at the end of each class to prepare over the week.
You will of course have the opportunity to ask questions during class, which I will answer live, plus each course member gets 30 minutes 1-on-1 support from me in a Skype session, which they can use at any point in the process!
You will be required to purchase your materials and pattern separately.
The pattern used in this class is the "Sophia" underbust corset by Sew Curvy, available to purchase here.
You are also welcome to use any other underbust corset pattern, as long as it is similar to the Sophia!
Please note this is not for you if you are totally new to sewing, as advanced sewing skills are required! If you are not sure about your skill level please get in touch and I will be happy to give advice!
